United we meet again. Stay safe and healthy.
Welcome to Camp4Kids where memories are made
Camp4Kids, provides a nurturing environment for campers, enhancing their sense of competence and self-worth. Our goal is to help each camper develop: respect for one’s self and others; courage to face new challenges; lifelong friendships; and an appreciation of life and of family.
Camp4Kids is American Camp Association (ACA) accredited for management, operations and programs, living to a higher standard.
Camp4Kids is a non-traditional resident summer camp program which will make your child's camping experience one that they will never forget! Your camper will have the opportunity to take part in over 32 activities and special events throughout the week at Camp Oakes, which is more than most other camps offer in twice the time.
For those going to Camp4Kids - CHOC's, you will have the same opportunities to sleep out under the stars, learn how to cook, and to participate in so many other exciting activities. This part of camp is for patients and their siblings coming from CHOC.
Camp4Kids' community service programs are designed for older campers (14-17) who wish to learn the value of giving back to their community and helping those in need. These programs are completely voluntary. This program should be viewed as another tool to help participants become more enlightened by the humanity of sharing from their heart, a gift that is free but extremely rewarding when done without any expectation. For those who participate, they are also given credit for the time they spend helping others. These community credit hours can be useful when applying to college.
If you have fond memories of going to summer camp as a kid or you are just curious about camp, you're in luck. It's not only possible as an adult to spend a weekend reliving those fun days canoeing, fishing, and gathering around a campfire to roast s'mores, but you can even bring the whole family.
Spending a weekend at our family camp making great memories enjoying outdoor fun during the day and collegiality with friends and family at night. Can you even imagine a weekend without a phone or texting? By the end of the weekend you might even wonder why you have a phone!
