What happens if the financial aid doesn't cover the full cost?

You are responsible for paying any remaining balance of the camp fee by the camp payment deadline. Plans like monthly installments may help spread payments over time.

Can I apply for more than one summer?

Financial aid applications are for specific camp years. If you plan to attend multiple summers, you must apply for each year separately.

Is financial aid guaranteed every year?

No — financial aid participation depends on available funds and the number of qualified applicants. We encourage you to apply early.

What Is Financial Aid?

Financial aid is a monetary scholarship designed to reduce the cost of summer camp for families with demonstrated financial need. Financial aid at Camp4Kids is funded by generous donors who want to ensure every child has the opportunity to attend camp — regardless of income.

These awards are not full scholarships for all campers but may cover up to 50% of the total camp fee, depending on need and available funds.

Our goals:

Remove financial barriers so kids ages 8–17 can experience the joy of summer camp.
Promote confidence, friendship, and personal growth.
Support families who value the importance of outdoor camps but need a little help.

Who Can Apply

To be considered for financial aid, your camper must:

Be registered for Camp4Kids summer camp, or in the process of registering.
Be between the ages of 8 and 17.
Provide documentation of your family’s financial situation.
Submit a complete application, including a written explanation of why your child should attend camp and what they hope to gain from the experience.

Financial aid funding is limited and awarded on a first-come, first-served basis — so early applications are highly encouraged.
