Camp4Kids, provides a nurturing environment for campers, enhancing their sense of competence and self-worth. Our goal is to help each camper develop: respect for one’s self and others; courage to face new challenges; create lifelong friendships; and an appreciation of their life and of family.

Our leadership comes from a solid YMCA background and seeks to pass many of those same values we learned onto to others.  We believe it is important to value everyone's opinion, to value their religious beliefs, to value their family history and upbringing, and to value their unique individualism.

Camp4Kids is a accredited member of American Camp Association (ACA) in management, staffing, operations and programs, so we live to a higher standard than most camps.

Campfire
Camp4Kids is a non-traditional resident summer camp program which will make your child's camping experience one that they will never forget!  Your camper will have the opportunity to take part in nearly 20 activities and special events throughout the week, which is more than most other camp's offer.

For those going to Camp4Kids - you will have the opportunities to sleep out under the stars, learn how to make a smores', participate in so many other exciting activities, from fishing to the color run, from playing Bingo to dancing the night away.
Volunteers

Camp4Kids' community service programs are designed for older campers (14-17) who wish to learn the value of giving back to their community and helping those in need. These programs are completely voluntary. This program should be viewed as another tool to help participants become more enlightened by the humanity of sharing from their heart, a gift that is free but extremely rewarding when done without any expectation.

CIT's.jpg

Our Counselor-In-Training (CIT) ages 16-18 is designed to offer qualified young adults an opportunity to prepare for a future position as a Camp Counselor in years to come.  Emphasis is place upon developing leadership skills, teamwork, self-worth, motivation, sensitivity to children needs of all sorts, and developing program skills and learning to think outside the box.

The Counselor-in-Training (CIT) Program is an intensive, hands-on training experience that gives teen campers valuable insight into the role of a camp counselor and what it means to be a leader and a volunteer.

Guided by an experienced CIT Program Directors, CITs will develop their decision-making and problem-solving skills by assisting with daily activities and camper care under the supervisor of trained professionals.

Ashley R. This was a first for my kids. 3 of my 4 children got to go. Just seeing how happy they look through here makes my heart melt. The fact that you all were able to be part of their journey in making wonderful memories is such a blessing. Truly appreciate you all for giving my kids memories they will cherish forever! You guys are the best !!! God bless you all .

Marzena W. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to make our children this happy! We haven’t heard the stories yet but the pictures showed how much they loved it. I’m speaking for all the parents because when I saw each picture and every kid, those faces couldn’t lie, they were simply ecstatic! You did a fantastic job and thank you for keeping them safe and helping them make these lifelong memories. ❤️

Cindy W.  I appreciate the character-building you do. Especially important for my young teen boy, giving them tools to get along and evaluate their choices, reflecting on themselves. I see a difference in him every year.

Stacey M.  Thank you for all you do for these kids!!!!

Miki A.  Keep doing what you’re doing!! It works and my daughter and her friends have a blast every year!

Monique G.  This camp is so amazing my son came home so excited to tell me the songs he learned, the games he played, about Chapel and even cleaning his cabin. Thank you so much to all the counselors and everyone involved that makes it possible for these kids, will definitely be sending my boys next year.

Margaret S.  When your child gets home, isn’t even in the car yet and says “I’m going back next year” you know this is a great place. The amazing updates, the care of the staff, the irreplaceable memories and lifelong friendships are what sets this camp apart from others. They genuinely care about your child and the time they have while at camp. We can’t wait to go back!
